Meet Walt

Hello, my name is Walt. I am a husband to a beautiful wife and a father to an amazing son. I currently work as a Commercial Refrigeration Technician. I also served in the military as an Airborne Infantryman in the 173RD ABCT. I have had a passion for firearms for as long as I can remember, probably stemming from watching too many action movies and spaghetti westerns with my father. I got my first rifle when I was 12 and have been shooting since. Within the past year or two I started to incorporate lifting and cardio into my range days. I competed in my first shooting competition that was actually hosted by APEX Training Solutions, "The First Annual Safety Symposium", and I really enjoyed the event from the actual competition aspect to the camaraderie between the competitors. Since then I cannot wait to have the opportunity to compete again.

I would like to validate my skills as a shooter and as a competitor. Additionally I want to be more involved in the firearms and shooting community, as well as just have fun.
